The University Design Institute (UDI) welcomed 12 teams from higher education institutions across the Philippines for the inaugural Transformation Accelerator, part of the U.S.-Philippines Partnership for Skills, Innovation and Lifelong Learning (UPSKILL) program. 

The University Design Institute (UDI) at Arizona State University (ASU) hosted the inaugural cohort of the USAID UPSKILL Innovation Leaders Fellowship Oct 7-11, offering Filipino higher education leaders an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of ASU’s innovative practices and learning ecosystem. 

The University Design Institute (UDI) is excited to announce that Dr. Reynaldo Vea has been named as a Global Fellow. Global Fellows are world-renowned experts and leaders in higher education and support UDI higher education transformation work in various regions and industries.

Sixteen senior academic officials from twelve (12) Philippine Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and the Philippine Commission on Higher Education (CHED) began their journey as Higher Education Innovation Leaders Fellows of the ASU-led fellowship program as part of the UPSKILL program.
