Our U.S. Practice at the University Design Institute at Arizona State University is committed to empowering regional public universities and public systems as they address the evolving demands of their students, states and stakeholders.

We partner with institutions and systems that serve as critical engines of access, mobility and economic impact, particularly in communities that depend on public higher education the most. Our work emphasizes reimagining, redesigning and rebuilding U.S. higher education in ways that enhance student success, workforce alignment and community impact.

UDI's Design Accelerator supports institutional growth, student success, and regional impact through university-led efforts in workforce development, community engagement, and cross-sector collaboration. Powered by ASU Principled Innovation and UDI's IMPACT Framework, the Design Accelerator fosters partnerships between institutions to amplify outcomes across the region.

Preparing the Future of U.S. Higher Education Leadership

UDI leads the Academy for Innovative Higher Education Leadership, a collaborative partnership between Arizona State University and Georgetown University to develop those who aspire to lead organizational change at colleges and universities around the country. To date, the Academy, currently in its 11th cohort, has developed more than 300 leaders at over 100 institutions.
