Design programs

While UDI offers a variety of customizable co-design services, we also provide varied structured programs that can be tailored to client needs at the system, university, and leader levels. Our programs blend expertise and thought leadership with practical, applicable and contextually relevant frameworks and toolkits.

UDI system-level programs

UDI co-designs solutions for multi-university, multi-stakeholder engagements. Systems-level engagements challenge participants to identify root issues impacting transformation and address processes and relationships critical to broad and sustainable change.

Redesign Accelerator

The Redesign Accelerator is a 7-month, immersive design experience to advance high impact student outcomes in U.S. public universities. Blending synchronous and asynchronous experiences centered around a design core, the Accelerator will drive ideation and implementation planning for innovative student-focused solutions. Executive Teams from participating universities will engage in design sessions to develop ideas, learn from each other and prepare for implementation with team coaching support.

UDI university-level programs

UDI offers structured programs to support senior university leaders who are advancing transformation efforts at the institution level. Outcomes include: best practices, innovative ideas, frameworks, models, and toolkits, along with opportunities for networking and mutual learning.

Programs can be custom-designed for leaders from individual and/or multiple universities.

UDI design leadership programs bring together decision-makers from across higher education, government and foundations and offer platforms to strategically advance institutional development, new models and high impact solutions.

Lead by Design

Globally, leaders with a design mindset are needed to drive sustainable transformation in higher education. Leaders must understand the complexities of the trends, challenges and opportunities in the postsecondary landscape and work collaboratively to build the skill sets to effectively usher in change.
